We believe science belongs everywhere, not just in classrooms or labs. That’s why Brewing Scientists brings science into everyday community spaces like breweries, where people already gather, talk, and connect.
Most people never get the chance to hear about the research happening right in their own backyards, even though public dollars help fund much of that work. Brewing Scientists creates opportunities for local scientists to share what they do, why it matters, and how it connects to the communities they’re part of.
Brewing Scientists aims to:
- Build trust in science through open, informal conversation
- Foster meaningful connections between scientists and their communities
- Raise awareness of locally conducted, publicly funded research
- Make science fun, human, and real
